A Day in Century City

A Day in Century City

Hey Ya’ll! I’ve been back in LA for some days now so, I decided it was time to go out and explore my city again. This time, I went to the very upscale neighborhood of Century City. Here’s what I did during my time there, I’m sure ya’ll would also enjoy!

  • Visit The Annenberg Space For Photography:

This is a small free photo gallery (pictured above) that changes every few months with new photos. The current exhibit on display is Contact High: A Visual History Of Hip-Hop. It runs until August 18th. This exhibit is for anyone who loves Hip Hop, music, and even street photography! As I mentioned, it is free but parking is $4.50 with validation. For hours and more information, visit here.

  • Explore and eat at Eataly:

Ahh Eataly. There is much to say about this place so here we go. First of all, don’t (or do) come hungry because you’ll want to have all the food Eataly has to offer. Eataly is a market/restaurant located inside of the Westfield Century City mall. It sells, you guessed it, Italian food and products.

This place is surprisingly huge. They have everything from cheeses, meats, and fresh pasta sold by the pound. Eataly also has an assorment of charming household items for sale. Keep in mind everything is pretty pricy. I didn’t buy anything, but it is fun to roam the aisles to look at all the chachkies.

To end my time at Eataly, I ate at one of their restaurants called La Pizza & La Pasta. I had some $17 Linguine Al Pomodoro, the cheapest option for pasta. Even though I find it a little pricy, the pasta is delicious. I came for dinner but, I highly recommend coming in for lunch and doing their $19 two course meal which includes an appetizer, and choice of entree. Check out the menu and hours here.

Before I left Eataly, I grabbed some dessert. They have gelato, cannoli’s, and coffee. I decided on some blood orange gelato, which was $5. I then went on a walk throughout the Westfield Century City mall.

This mall is very upscale and doesn’t even have a Forever 21 (AKA, the only store I shop at), however it is nice to wander around. Due to a system glitch, I did not have to pay for parking, however I know parking at the mall can get a little pricy, check the parking rates here.

That’s all I got for Century City, hope ya’ll enjoyed! Where in LA should I go to next?
