The Lavender Festival at 123 Farm

Hey friends!

It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post that isn’t personal or a book review. Well, I’m happy to say I’m back..at least for now! Needless to say, I’ve been pretty busy with work and life in general.

Last week, I turned 26 which is something I still can’t wrap my head around. I spent my birthday weekend with family and went to my first-ever Dodger game. I also visited the Lavender Festival at 123 Farm.

Located two hours from Los Angeles in the town of Beaumont, 123 Farm hosts the Lavender Festival yearly to kick off the summer. In this post, I’ll be discussing what you can expect and do when you visit this fun-filled outdoor event!

Also, a special shout-out to my cousin Yanny for taking the time and effort to join me on this adventure to celebrate my birthday! Now let’s get into the post!

  • Eat lavender food and drinks

Yes, you read that right. Everything on the menu at the lavender festival is in fact lavender based. Both my cousin and I ate a lavender chicken sandwich.

I couldn’t taste the lavender much but I can say that it was pretty good. For drinks, she got the lavender lemonade and I got the lavender soda. They also had desserts, tea, and everything in between!

  • Shop

There were several outdoor markets that sold a plethora of lavender goods. They had body oil, tea, jam, merch, and so much more. I personally bought some loose-leaf rose lavender tea, lavender toner, and a lavender lip balm. Both cash and card are accepted at 123 Farm.

*You can also shop online

  • Enjoy nature

I specifically wanted to spend my birthday here to get out of the city and enjoy all that nature has to offer. I can happily say that I was not disappointed. Besides endless lavender fields, there was also a 1,000-year-old oak tree.

  • Take photos

This is the perfect place to take cottagecore-inspired Instagram photos! I'm not ashamed to say I took advantage of this opportunity. Thank you to Yanny for taking several photos of me at my insistence 😉.

How to visit the Lavender Festival:

  • Tickets and parking can be purchased online or on-site for $3 more

  • Depending on the day, prices range from $12-$16 (for adults)

  • There is a lot more to do than I mentioned; check out their website to learn more

  • The address is listed below

Lastly, Beaumont is VERY hot (it’s close to Palm Springs). Stay hydrated and wear light clothing! Thanks for reading and check out my TikTok below to see more of The Lavender Festival in action!
