YouTubers You Should Check Out
Let’s take a moment and thank our lucky stars that this is 2020 and NOT 1918. I’m sure most of us (including myself) are dying of boredom.
On the bright side, at least we have technology! That is why today, I am going to be discussing some YouTubers I think you should check out. Most of my interests revolve around beauty, true crime, and history. If you’re into any of these topics, then read on below!
Bailey Sarian: With Bailey Sarian, you get a makeup tutorial all while she talks about serial killers and mysteries. She goes in-depth and gives you more information that you perhaps didn’t already know. This is perfect for beauty lovers and true crime junkies alike!
Video you should watch: The Night Stalker: Richard Ramirez
Kendall Rae: This is another one for my true crime and mystery junkies! Kendall Rae is one of my absolute favorite YouTubers and podcasters. Like Bailey Sarian, she gives you in-depth information about a case. However, Kendall Rae focuses on more contemporary cases that are currently in the news. Beyond this, she also talks about the paranormal and even conspiracy theories. If you want more of Kendall Rae, I highly recommend her weekly podcast!

Jocie B ASMR: I’ve never been big into ASMR until I stumbled on Jocie B’s page on Tik Tok. This lead me to her YouTube Channel where she posts 20-50 minute videos of amazing ASMR. If you feel like you need something to relax, please watch her! Her face and voice are incredibly soothing and she feels like an old friend that wants to make you feel good.
Video you should watch: ASMR Spa Treatment
Insider: Ok so this isn’t actually a specific YouTuber. However, I find this channel pretty interesting and I think you will too! Insider talks about movies, music, life, and pop culture. You get everything from how specific scenes in movies are shot, to how things are made. Definitely give this channel a look!

Exploring With Josh: Josh is an urban explorer who travels the world in search of abandoned places. His videos give me serious FOMO but also make me excited to do more urban exploring one day! He goes everywhere from abandoned islands to places like Chernobyl.
Video you should watch: Investigating The Conjuring House Part 1
Great Depression Cooking: Clara was a grandmother filmed by her grandson talking about her childhood and food she would eat during the great depression. This sounds a lot more melancholy than it actually is. Clara talks about that time with joy and makes your mouth water with her recipes. Her videos are sweet and short; she’s like the grandmother you wish you had. Sadly, Clara died in 2013 at 98 years old, but due to the quarantine, her grandson is uploading old videos he never got to post.

That’s all I have for y’all this week! I’ll see you next time with another post on The Leslie Life. Stay safe and I hope everyone has a lovely week.
XOXO
