Life Lately
Hello there! Long time no see.
As you may or may not have noticed, I haven’t posted here for weeks! Sometimes, the well of creativity dries up, you feel me? Moreover, October and quite honestly, this year have been far too busy.
Anyways, this post will likely lack structure as it is strictly to catch you all up on what I’ve been up to. Let’s get into it!
My BFF Claude AKA Dana, came to visit
One of my closest friends, Dana currently lives in Portland. In mid-October, I was lucky enough to spend time with him in LA. My parents were out of town and Dana stayed over at my house for a week. We spent the majority of those days catching up and eating GOOD but of course, we also had some fun around town.
Dana and I spent the day in Burbank
A few years ago, before the pandemic, Dana, our friend Brigitte, and I spent a lovely day in Burbank together. Wanting to recreate that magical time, we made the drive to Burbank before the end of Dana’s trip. There, we visited the small (& overpriced) Mystic Museum and took horror-themed photos.
Although we definitely had fun, it was $16 to walk around and take photos. We did not know this beforehand but you only live once so we went for it! Besides this, we strolled around town and enjoyed the city’s various thrift shops.
Dana and I love hot drinks and stopped by Priscilla’s Coffee (also in Burbank) to get some liquid fuel before we began our adventures. We ended the day by stopping by the Grove for Pizza at Chill Since ‘93.
I went to Shaqtoberfest
