ULTA Haul 2020

ULTA Haul 2020

Wow, what a week this has been! I know the news cycle has been heavy and in general, everything’s been a little crazy. That’s why I want to keep this blog post lighthearted.

Today, I am doing an ULTA haul! I purchased a few new products I have never tried before, as well as products I love and ran out of. All of these are affordable and I hope you consider some of these items next time you hit up ULTA!

But first, I made a TikTok (something I’m very new at) as a visual for my haul instead of using photos.

I actually ended up forgetting to put one item in the video but nonetheless, I wanted to share. I will also be linking each item, the price, as well as my review of the product below.

Enjoy!

This my all-time favorite brow gel. It’s simple, cheap, and effective! I have tried other brow gels, but I always end up repurchasing this one by Essence.

I have used this setting spray for two years now and love how practical it is. Sunscreen is important guys! When I finish my makeup, I use both a regular setting spray and this one to lock everything in and for added sun protection.

This does have a heavy sunscreen scent which can be off-putting. However, this is a great affordable option. I used to buy this same product from the high-end brand Supergoop! for $20 more and let me tell you, they both smell the same and do the same. I’ve seen no difference and I bought the one from Supergoop for years before switching to the one from ULTA.

I will say that although I love the product itself, the spray bottle it comes with is cheaply made and can be faulty so keep that in mind.

*Note: It seems that Supergoop no longer makes the specific setting spray I used, so I linked what seems to be their new and improved version of the same product.

I’m pretty sure I’ve talked about this concealer more than once on my blog and for good reason. This inexpensive and classic product by Maybelline works well for under-eye circles and for covering up blemishes. I use the shade “fair” and have repurchased this over and over again throughout the years.

I am a huge fan of The Ordinary’s skincare and knew I had to try their foundation. Luckily, ULTA sells it online (sadly not in-store). For less than $7, you get a very light coverage foundation that blends beautifully.

If you love the “no-makeup makeup” look, this is for you. I purchased the shade 2.0 N and it matches my skin tone perfectly. It provides a very nice finish to the skin when using a sponge. They also sell a coverage foundation that I’m assuming is a little heavier if you think this won’t provide enough coverage.

I’ve seen several people rave about this gloss and wanted to see what the fuss is all about. I chose the shade “petal” a pink finish with a purple tone. This gloss claims to have hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump the lips.

After wearing this a few times I must say that the color payoff is great, it’s not sticky, and 100% keeps your lips hydrated. Do I think it plumps your lips? Not really, but everything else makes up for it. They have so many pretty shades, I recommend you at least try one!

This is another repurchase. This stuff smells amazing and is great for keeping your skin smooth, which is why I use it on my legs before shaving. They have several scents but I love anything that smells like Vanilla.

This is the priciest thing on the list! I love Ariana Grande’s perfumes and have a travel-sized version of, “Thank U Next”, “Cloud”, “Sweet Like Candy”, and “Ari”. They all smell amazing and I can’t choose which one I like the best. I’m also running low on all of them which is why I decided to purchase this small set.

Each one of these bottles does not contain a spritzer; you dab it on your fingers to place on your neck, wrist, etc. The set also comes with the new perfume “R.E.M”, which I’m actually not a fan of so far. Each one of her perfumes retails for $44-$64, so if you love her scents or know someone who does, this is a great gift set for the upcoming holidays.

I love Colourpop but have never tried their lippie stix. I purchased the shade “Love Life” which is described as a matte brownish brick red. The color is gorgeous and the formula is not drying. Plus, it’s the perfect fall shade!

This is the item I forgot to put in my TikTok! I purchased this liquid blush in the shade “Rose Flush”, a nice classic rose-toned color. Although it won an Allure Best of Beauty award this year, this actually has lower ratings than expected. After reading the reviews and wearing it for a few days here are my thoughts:

This is honestly a great affordable liquid blush. Although it provides a light finish at first, it is buildable and this is something people seemed to not like. Again, this is great for those who love the “no-makeup makeup” look (like me). If you want something bright and shocking, skip this. If you’re into the Glossier Cloud Paint but think it’s a little pricy, I say try this first!

Ok, guys well that’s a wrap for this haul! If you’re like me, then you know shopping can be therapeutic. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and if you try any of these products or love any of these, let me know!

See you next week!

XOXO
