ROMWE Review

ROMWE Review

If you shop online for clothes, chances are you’ve heard of SHEIN, ZAFUL, and ROMWE. And if you haven’t, all of these are websites that sell ultra affordable fashionable clothing; I liken them to online versions of Forever 21.

I recently went to Forever 21 in search of satin robe (we all know I’m extra) and found none to my liking. On a whim, I decided to check if ROMWE had any, and they did!

I’ve never purchased anything from ROMWE specifically. Although, I have purchased some bathing suits from ZAFUL and found them to be hit or miss. Regardless, I decided to give ROMWE a go.

The robe I wanted was exactly what I was looking for and the right price. While on the site, I saw some other cute things and figured I’d try them out. Here is my completely honest review of my ROMWE purchases:

  • Faux Fur Trim Belted Satin Robe-$15.95: This is the culprit that led me to go on a mini shopping spree. I had a vision of the satin robe I wanted, and there it was, on ROMWE. This is a great quality piece. It was better than the robe I saw at Forever 21 and cheaper! I purchased a size small and it fit me perfectly. The one thing I will say is that it gets wrinkly pretty easily. However, you can iron it on a low setting. I did and it worked pretty well! You can see me in the robe below.

  • Adjustable Strap Velvet Bralette-$6.95:I thought this would look perfect with my robe and it did! I was honestly surprised by the quality of this velvet bralette. I bought a size small, and It looks exactly how it does in the photo. This definitely runs small and offers no support ( I have a very small chest so this was no problem for me). Overall, it’s a comfy and cute piece to lounge in!

  • Solid Heart Cut Out Lettuce Trim Tee-$6.95: This turtleneck top is adorable. I love it more than I thought I would! I purchased a size small and it fits me pretty well! It is slightly loose in the sleeves, but I am used to clothes not fitting me perfectly ( I am 4’11 after all). It is a nice quality top and heart cut out was perfect for Valentine’s day. You can see me wearing it in the photo below.

Dalmatian Print Split Hem Mini Skirt-$6.95: Sadly, this skirt did NOT work out. It looks the same as it does in the photo however, it did not fit me well. I purchased an XS, and although it did fit me around the waist, the rest of the skirt was tight and too short. The skirt has a split and it is really awkwardly placed and badly sew-my slit started to tear after I tried it on. This is a big no for me and I think I will stay away from ROMWE skirts for now on.

ROMWE Logo Socks-$3.95: These came with free with my order as a gift. They’re pretty comfy and good quality! They’re surprisingly really soft and fit nicely. If you make a purchase and qualify for a free gift, get these socks!

Final thoughts:

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied with my order! Besides the skirt, I can say that I truly loved everything else I purchased. So much so that I put in another order.

You can’t beat the prices! I wrote the prices that are listed on the site, however, they have several coupon code options (they are listed at the top of the ROMWE homepage). This cut back a few dollars off the listed price and I only ended up paying $34 with free shipping and free socks for everything listed above.

I definitely think that some things can be hit or miss (as seen with the skirt). I suggest looking at reviews and photos posted by other customers; most items have them and this helped me make decisions. Quality wise, it is very similar if not the same to Forever 21 or Fashion Q.

If you’re looking for cheap cute clothes or accessories, definitely check out ROMWE, and check out their Instagram! They have a massive inventory with different styles for everyone.

That’s all for today’s post y’all! Happy shopping and see you next week with another post on The Leslie Life!
