A Very Cute Daiso Haul
There is a magical store called Daiso and I’m here to show you all a haul of what I purchased there. But first, let me back up! If you don’t know what Daiso is let me enlighten you.
Daiso is a Japanese discount store; think of it as a kawaii and pastel 99¢ Only Store. Everything is $1.50 to $5.00, although, 95% of what they sell is $1.50. In short, it’s very affordable and everything is super cute. So of course, I had to show you all what I got!
There are several locations in California; I specifically went to the Torrance and Gardena locations in the South Bay where I live, but, you can also find them in Washington, Texas, New York, and New Jersey.
Before I get into the haul, I want to dedicate this post to my best friend Dana. It was her idea to go to Daiso and boy, did we have fun. We did end up spending more than we wanted to but it was totally worth it as you’ll see below!

Passport holder
Weeks before everything shut down, I went and got my passport renewed. I haven’t received it yet and who knows when I will be able to travel internationally but once I can, I’ll be prepared with this cherry print passport holder!
Nail care products
I probably won’t be heading to a nail salon soon but luckily, I got a nail polisher and glass nail file to keep my nails in tip-top shape. I have tried both these products out, and the glass nail file works especially well and even feels luxurious!
Stationery set
I guess I got a little nostalgic seeing this very adorable letter and envelope set so, I had to have it! Of course, this means I’ll definitely be sending my friends some snail mail soon.
Pen
What can I say? I needed a cute matching pen for the stationary set above.
Picnic blanket
Summer is just around the corner and I thought this reusable plastic picnic table would be perfect to store in my car’s trunk. Not only is it adorable, but it also easily folds up into a perfect compact size.
Face towel
This is technically a hand towel, but I’ve been using it for drying my face in the morning. It’s super soft and who doesn’t love pandas?
Accordion folder
I got this lilac accordion folder to organize important documents I have. It’s sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap whatsoever even though it was only $1.50.
Pastel marker pens
I thought these were going to be more of a pen but they feel like a highlighter. Regardless, the colors are everything and I love using them to do word search puzzles.
Kitchen timer
I’ve never liked using the timer on my iPhone-never have and never will. I’ve already used this pig-shaped one for steeping tea and making a frozen pizza. It’s loud, it’s cute, and pigs are my favorite animal.
Melamine sponges
Ok y’all, so this is basically a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Instead of paying $5 for four sponges, I got an entire bag for $1.50. You wet them and use them for cleaning surfaces. These work amazing on my white furniture and I highly recommend them.
Strawberry-shaped fan
This strawberry-shaped fan is what cost more than a $l.50, I think this was either $2 or $3. I got this to dry my face when I put on mud masks. However, it will undoubtedly be handy (pun intended) for when a summer heatwave inevitably hits.
Coasters
I drink a lot of tea and was sick of having my bedroom furniture get stained from the bottom of my hot mugs. These are adorable and I haven’t had any hot mug stains since!
Gloves
I don’t think I have to explain this one since we are living in a pandemic, but I will anyway. I got this compact pack of gloves to keep in my car for whenever they are needed.
Measuring spoons
I needed measuring spoons, it’s as simple as that. The fact that they are shaped like a black cats paw at the top is a plus.
Plastic jar
I purchased this jar to put my reusable cotton rounds in. The words on it don’t make sense but I love it anyway.
